However, pet keeping can be challenging in a busy city like Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Since the day we opened our doors in 1921 the SPCA has been a pioneer of animal welfare principles and one of our key programs is to create harmony in the community between pet owners and non-pet owners.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”col-padding” conditional_render=”%5B%7B%22value_role%22%3A%22administrator%22%7D%5D”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Harmony in the Community” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%230083cb” use_theme_fonts=”yes” text_transform=”text-uppercase” font_weight=”400″ el_class=”sml-content-title”][vc_column_text]Harmony comes from mutual respect. This happens when the pet-keeping community behaves responsibly, and the non-pet keeping community appreciates and understands the benefits companion animals bring to the community.   1. Giving advice and tips for local housing estates and members of the public via free talks<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
